Welcome to Starspeckled Hearts Photography! Our beautiful newborn baby photography studio is situated in Aldershot, right on the leafy Surrey/Hampshire border.
We are newborn and maternity specialists with many years of experience and we and focus solely on capturing baby's first year. Being specialised in this field means we are able to devote all of our time to perfecting and honing our craft - truly making us experts at what we do, so you can rest assured your precious baby is in the safest of hands!

When is the best time to book my Newborn Session?
The best time to book your session is as soon as you have your estimated due date, which is typically around the time of your 20 week scan. You can either call or email us with your due date, and we will reserve a session in our diary for you. So it may be easiest to think of your initial booking as a floating window as opposed to a set date.
When your baby has made their appearance, we can then get a date and time set to ensure we get your new little one in for a session during the ideal timeframe which is from birth up until 4 weeks old.
Booking in advance is highly recommended - this is to ensure that we will have a spot reserved for capturing those sweet newborn photos for your baby! We always have a very busy schedule and despite our best efforts, are sometimes unable to squeeze in last minute bookings.
However, if you are reading this and your baby has already arrived, please don't hesitate to reach out and enquire with us! We tend to book up a few months in advance but always aim to leave a handful of spaces free for last minute enquiries.
When is the best time to book my Maternity Photoshoot?
As experienced maternity photographers in Hampshire, we always advise scheduling your maternity session anytime from 30 weeks up until 36 weeks.
It is of utmost importance to us that you feel your best and this is an ideal time because you will have plenty of belly to photograph, yet we won’t miss the opportunity if your little one decides to arrive early.
We offer Bump to Baby packages with an option to book an outdoor maternity session - we are so lucky to be situated right on the Surrey/Hampshire border with a huge variety of beautiful outdoor locations right on our doorstep. With a long list of favourite locations for you to choose from, we are happy to guide you and advise on which areas are best for the time of year.

On a budget? Then our Newborn Mini sessions may be just what you are looking for..
If you are looking for an easy and budget friendly way to get quality newborn pictures, then our Newborn Mini sessions may be the answer.
We photograph our Newborn Mini sessions in our beautiful newborn baby photography studio on the Surrey/Hampshire border.
The process starts with a quick pre-consultation, typically scheduled in over the phone which helps us get an idea of the overall style you would like for your baby's newborn session. As with our full-length Classic Newborn sessions, we provide everything - from the backgrounds, props to a huge selection of clothing options.
We warmly welcome keepsake items brought from home but always advise making use of our beautiful, handmade outfits and bespoke props, so there is no need to bring anything else from home unless of sentimental value.
Upon arrival at our studio, everything will be prepared for your little one's newborn session. We allocate an hour to our Newborn Mini sessions and whilst they can include family and sibling portraits at no extra cost, we recommend just focusing on baby for these sessions.

Do you offer a combined Bump to Baby package?
Yes! We love nothing more than capturing the beauty of pregnancy for our clients and knowing that we will see them back again in a few weeks time with their precious bundle of joy!
Our Bump to Baby package consists of either an outdoor maternity session or a studio maternity session, coupled with a studio newborn session for once your baby has arrived. All of the above can include partners and older children - we have even included dogs in our outdoor maternity sessions on several occasions*!
We have an extensive maternity wardrobe containing beautiful gowns in a wide array of colours, styles and sizes. Our clients are of course also welcome to wear a dress of their own, but are always encouraged to have a look through our maternity wardrobe prior to their photoshoot.
