Meet Arlo - simply the cutest baby boy with the most beautiful head of hair! This was my second time meeting baby Arlo, but he was a lot smaller the last time I saw him! He came by the studio for his newborn session earlier on in the year, right before the March 2020 lockdown. I'm so pleased his parents decided to come back to see me yet again for more photos of their handsome baby boy. I love his serious face! We captured lots of lovely smiley photos but I must admit, my all time favourite photos I've captured over the years similar to the photo below - a simple, classic portrait of baby.
I do have a wide variety of beautiful, handmade outfits available for my clients to use as part of their time in the studio for my Little Sitter, but I am always happy for clients to bring a few of their own items from home.
His mummy and daddy had requested a very simple, clutter free setup with white and creamy tones, so for my first setup I decided to shoot in front of my glass double doors with a white fluffy rug on the floor. I love the effect it gives, with the light coming in through the doors from behind him and the texture of the rug just completes it for me. And who doesn't love a baby in a Santa hat! My Baby Photography sessions are best scheduled when your baby is confidently sitting up until when baby is taking their first steps. Little Sitter sessions are designed to capture your baby's emerging personality, their cheeky little smiles and those incredible baby rolls you just can't bear to forget! I personally style all sessions based off your requests for colour schemes, so that all you have to do is bring your gorgeous bubba and sit back and relax!

Arlo loved my yellow goldenrod flowers! Did you know that I always include fresh flowers into my setups, from newborn to cake smash sessions! I like to think if I hadn't become a newborn photographer, I would've gone down the path of floristry! I love the splash of colour these lovely goldenrods add to this particular setup. So what exactly is a Little Sitter session? It is simply a photography session for babies that have mastered sitting up confidently. These milestone sessions take place at my boutique photography studio in Aldershot, Hampshire. What makes these sessions so precious is that babies around this age are very inquisitive, smiley and playful! Which is exactly why this special time is one of my absolute favourite stages to capture!

Are you looking to book a Little Sitter session?
Little Sitter sessions are best booked for when your baby is a confident sitter, so anywhere between 5 to 8 months old. Props, outfits and backdrops are all included in the session fee, you won't have to bring anything along unless you have a specific outfit you would like your baby to wear or if you would like to include a keepsake, like a favourite teddy or comforter.
