Meet adorable Baby Musfirah - just 5 days old ♡ One of the reasons that I love being a Newborn Studio Photographer in Aldershot is that I get to meet so many amazing local families - turns out Musfirah's mum and I had actually studied at the same university! So we had lots and lots to chat about and it was just the best getting to know this lovely family!

This little cutie came by the studio for her Newborn session in September at just 5 days new.
Did you know that newborn sessions are booked in advance based on your due date? I always advise booking after you've had your 20 week scan, to ensure availability as I only book in a set amount of newborns per month. Sometimes my schedule is too busy to fit people in last minute so its always a good idea to book in advance!

Family portraits are always included in my newborn sessions - whether this is your first or fourth baby, I love nothing more than being able to provide families with gorgeous portraits for them to cherish for a lifetime. My newborn sessions are focused around your brand new addition but ultimately we are here to celebrate your family with beautiful portraits of everyone.
I always advise my clients to bring their babies into the studio between birth and 21 days old. This allows me to capture those cute, curly poses that all parents love. Baby Musfirah was just 5 days old for her session, which is the perfect time for a posed newborn session!

Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 3 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
