Just how adorable is this little lady! She came to see me for her 1st Birthday Cake Smash session and I truly love how this cute and girly setup came together. Her mum and I had discussed her overall vision for this session which included the colours pink and lilac, fairy lights, flowers and greenery.
She was so happy and smiley throughout her session, making my job so incredibly easy!

Not all babies are super keen on cake - sometimes they dive in head first, whereas others are less impressed and would rather play with the balloons on the set! Freya wasn't overly impressed with her cake (despite her mummy spending lots of time creating it!) but we still captured some gorgeous and adorable shots of her, and mum got to enjoy some delicious cake that evening. Now that's what I call a win-win!

All of my Cake Smash & Splash sessions finish with a bubble bath in my adorable miniature roll top bath - these photos are always parent favourites and the babies are always so excited to play in the warm water with all of the bubbles and rubber ducks!

Are you looking to book a cake smash session for your little one?
My cake smash & splash sessions start with capturing a few shots of your little one in an outfit of your choice (either one picked out of my studio wardrobe or one you've brought yourself). Then we get your little one changed into their cake smash outfit and let them have some fun getting stuck into their cake! Some children are initially not that keen on getting messy and may need a bit of gentle encouragement, others take to it straight away and relish the opportunity to get messy! The final part of the session is a nice, warm bath in my washtub with lots of bubbles.
A Cake Smash & Splash is a fun-packed session and a unique way to commemorate a birthday, whether that be a 1st, 2nd or 3rd birthday!
