She loved being in front of the camera and took to being center of attention straight away, loving all of the praise we were giving her for being such a star! Little E came to see me for her Little Sitter session with her lovely mummy. We had spoken prior to her session about what her vision was for the shoot and she really wanted something girly and pink for her little princess. I love everything pink and girly so I was very excited to set this up for her!
We started off this session, as I usually do - with a super simple setup, as pictured above. I love my wooden curved bench, it's really such a versatile prop! I layered it with my beautiful pink curly wool rug to add a bit of texture.
Her mummy had brought along this gorgeous pink tulle dress for little E to wear - I always aim to start with any outfits that parents may have brought, because I want to make sure we get to capture some lovely shots of their special outfit!
I have a huge variety of outfits in the studio to use for newborn, sitter and first birthday sessions, but I always encourage my clients to bring something of their own - it adds that personal touch and these images always end up being client favourites!

The second setup of the day had a bit of a rustic feel to it, with the burlap layer and the flowers, coupled with this beautiful handmade outfit (with matching bunting!) that mummy picked from my studio wardrobe. This is one of my favourite little baskets and Little E fit perfectly inside it!
And will you look at that sweet, sweet smile! She made me work for it but it was so worth it as I got to capture these adorable photos for her mummy.
For this next setup I finally got to use my beautiful floral bonnet again! This handmade bonnet is absolutely beautiful and came as a set together with this gorgeous flower embroidered dainty little romper - both are part of my studio wardrobe and are available for you to use for your Little Sitter session. I love the colours on her and was so pleased that Little E's mummy wanted to use the set for her session!
Little E and her mummy had to endure lots and lots of my awful, out of tune singing (sorry!) as she absolutely loved her nursery rhymes and we always got big smiles when we started singing. Anything for a good photo, eh! The most important thing for me is that your little one has a great time in the studio and enjoys the photoshoot, my sessions are very baby-led and I leave plenty of time for breaks so that nothing feels rushed.
I like to keep my Little Sitter sessions short and sweet - generally no longer than an hour and a half or when baby decides they're done for the day.
And with that, the Easter Bunny has arrived! Isn't she just the sweetest, most adorable little bunny you've ever seen?
As we were coming up to Easter, I was hoping that Little E's mummy wanted to use this sweet bunny romper and bonnet set, complete with long bunny ears - this is one of my newer outfit sets and probably my favourite! It's honestly so soft, I'd love nothing more for them to do an adult sized one as I'd definitely want to lounge around the house in it!

Are you looking to book a Little Sitter session?
Little Sitter sessions are best booked for when your baby is a confident sitter, so anywhere between 5 to 8 months old. Props, outfits and backdrops are all included in the session fee, you won't have to bring anything along unless you have a specific outfit you would like your baby to wear or if you would like to include a keepsake, like a favourite teddy or comforter.
