Welcome to the world, beautiful baby Elliot! He came by my boutique photography studio in Hampshire for his studio newborn session with his mummy and daddy. I had the best time meeting him and getting to know his family!

Ten tiny toes. I just adore these burnt oranges and earthy tones, anyone that has seen my work will know it's one of my absolute favourite colour schemes to work with. Autumnal colours are so beautiful and I love being able to incorporate these into my newborn sessions.

Elliot with his baby dinosaur teddy! This was a very special keepsake that his parents had brought along from home - I always love including those little things that make your session unique to you.
Did you know that newborn sessions are booked in advance based on your due date? I always advise booking after you've had your 20 week scan, to ensure availability as I only book in a set amount of newborns per month. Sometimes my schedule is too busy to fit people in last minute so its always a good idea to book in advance!
Snug as a bug. Being a Newborn and Baby photographer is truly amazing, I LOVE my job and I sometimes have to pinch myself to believe this is really what I do for a living - there's nothing in the world I'd rather do. Newborn photography is where my heart lies and I genuinely adore each and every baby that comes to visit me in the studio ♡
The most beautiful little family ♡ Did you know that my Newborn sessions include sibling and family images at no extra cost? I love capturing the natural connection between new parents and their bundle of joy - no forced smiles or poses. Just you and baby.

Sleepy little bunny ♡
I offer digital composites as part of my newborn sessions and I always aim to include one or two composite images as part of my clients' viewing galleries. This adorable bunny on the moon composite is one of my absolute favourites!
Whilst I just love those classic, sleepy newborn photos I always try to capture a mix of awake and sleepy photos for my clients. I adore this photo of Elliot with his big beautiful eyes wide open! He was just the most content and relaxed baby throughout his session.

I so enjoyed meeting Elliot's family and getting to know them. Being able to capture this special time in their lives was an absolute pleasure and knowing that these photos will be treasured for years to come just means so much to me! Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 2 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
