Flowers, flowers - flowers everywhere! Isn't this just a stunning setup? These are all real flowers. Yep, all real! This is what happens when mummy is a (super creative!) florist and wanted to include flowers in her little girls newborn session. We worked so well together and I genuinely cannot wait to work with her again!

I love that mummy had chosen to dress her boys in pink, so that they were all colour coordinating for their photos! These two boys were just the best big brothers - they were every so gentle and careful with her and kept wanting to give her kisses and cuddles! It absolutely melted my heart ♡
Did you know that I always leave plenty of time to include family and sibling shots as part of my newborn sessions? For my family shots I suggest wearing similar tones in neutral colours.

I am so in love with this stunning floral wreath that her mummy made herself. And painstakingly taking the time to add each individual flower and greenery stem into the willow wreath.
Gorgeous Baby Grace was 7 weeks old on the day of her newborn session and an absolute dream from start to finish - despite not being very sleepy she was so content and smiley throughout her entire session. This is exactly why I am happy to book babies in up to 8 weeks for newborn sessions. She loved being wrapped up but was equally as happy laying on my fluffy rug with her arms free to explore!
Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 3 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
