Meet Misha, the most beautiful little girly with the longest & most beautiful eyelashes!
She was just too cute for words. I recently got to shoot Baby Misha's newborn photos in my Hampshire studio and it was so wonderful meeting her and her lovely family. She brought along her mummy, daddy and sweet older brother - he was such a charmer and a real little chatterbox! It was such a pleasure getting to know everyone.
Prior to Misha's session, her mummy and I had planned out her session and discussed colour schemes, along with her ideas and requests for the photoshoot. She really wanted something very feminine and wanted to incorporate florals, soft pinks and dainty headbands.

Ahhh, will you look at that sweet little smirk! Absolutely melts my heart. I always love capturing these special, fleeting moments for the parents. One thing that's very important when working with newborns is patience. Patience is key! That's how you end up capturing these sweet shots, of those little smiles and grins that only last a split second. At almost every single session, I get asked how on earth I have so much patience! I don't think you'd get through a day in the life of a newborn photographer if you didn't! My secret is being a mum of two toddlers, 12 months apart - if you didn't have bucket loads of patience, you simply wouldn't survive!
My purpose built fully air-conditioned studio in Aldershot, Hampshire is designed specifically with newborn photo sessions in mind. My goal is to provide comfort & make the session easy for new parents while providing my clients with stunning images of their earliest days with their precious newborn baby. These are keepsake newborn photos that they will cherish for a lifetime. Did you know that I always leave plenty of time to include family and sibling shots as part of my newborn sessions? For my family shots I suggest wearing similar tones in neutral colours.

Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 3 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
