Adorable Baby K is here! Welcome to the world, gorgeous baby boy. 6 days new with the cutest little cupid's bow lips! He was such a dream to photograph - he didn't make a peep from start to finish. Halfway through the session, he decided to wake up for a brief minute - juuust long enough for me to capture a few images of his piercing blue eyes ♡
He is one lucky boy to be welcomed into an amazing family with 3 older siblings, all eager to shower him with love and spoil him rotten! I got to meet his lovely mummy and sweet older sister who came with him to his newborn session - and I am looking forward to also meeting his two older brothers for their family session later in the year!
This little girly was so fiercely protective of her baby brother and kept checking up on him throughout the shoot - she was right there by his side the entire time, looking over him and making sure he was okay. There's no doubting these two will be inseparable growing up! Did you know that I always leave plenty of time to include sibling shots as part of my newborn sessions? I have got lots of beautiful matching wrap and outfit sets, specifically to use as part of my sibling shots. If you have any specific colour scheme in mind, please do let me know in advance of your shoot.
Ten little piggies ♡ Is there anything quite as cute as little baby toes? I love detail shots and little baby feet are a definite favourite of mine. And parents always choose these shots as their favourites too.
His mummy really wanted to incorporate earthy tones and greenery into his session - I am so in love with these colours and I especially love these tones on baby boys. I really do have THE best clients and I absolutely love my job!
Are you looking to book a newborn session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 3 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
