Meet gorgeous Baby E ♡
She was full of smiles and was such a happy and bubbly little girl! I loved every single minute of this session and am so excited to be able to share these gorgeous images from her first birthday photoshoot with you!
Baby E came by to see me with her lovely mummy and daddy - wanting to commemorate her 1st Birthday by capturing some beautiful photos of their growing little girl for the entire family to look back on.
After much consideration, they decided they didn't want a Cake Smash Session, but instead were looking for a simple but sweet photoshoot, focused solely on their baby girl.
For this shoot I decided to use a plain, white wooden backdrop - I really wanted to keep the setup as simple as possible but with a cute and girly twist, so I added in some subtle florals and leafy greenery for that little special touch!
This dress is one of my absolute favourites from my studio wardrobe - I think it goes so perfectly with this setup, it adds a bit of a rustic feel and Baby E models it so well! All of the flowers and greenery used in this session are real (apart from the garland hanging up on the backdrop behind her). The look of real flowers and greenery is just incomparable to plastic flowers and wherever possible, I always try to incorporate them into my sessions.
The second setup of this session was a bit more colourful - her mummy and daddy chose this cute outfit from my studio wardrobe. This cute bright pink tutu and romper suit set is just too adorable for words! And aren't her squishy cheeks are just irresistible!!! ♡
I have many different colour and size options for the tutu/romper sets available in my studio. If there's a particular colour you'd like, please let me know before your session!
I think it shows from these photos that she had the best time at her shoot! At this age it's all about engaging them with songs, games and play. The most important thing to me is that you and your little one has a great time in my studio, I want the experience to be fun and memorable - and of course, that means you'll get some gorgeous images to take home, capturing those authentic smiles and giggles we all love!
With Easter being right around the corner, we thought it very fitting to finish off the session with an Easter themed setup - complete with fresh and fragrant daffodils! This dress was a gift from Baby E's Nan, isn't it just the sweetest? I hope Nan loves the photos as much as I do!

Celebrating your little one's birthday doesn't necessarily have to involve a cake and getting messy! My Birthday sessions are for all ages and each and every one is completely bespoke and one of a kind. My studio wardrobe is full of gorgeous handmade dresses and outfits of all sizes, all available for you to use throughout your session. We usually have time for around 3 different setups/outfit changes. Most of my Birthday sessions incorporate your childs' (or yours!) favourite colours, I keep the setup quite neutral ensuring all of the focus is on your little one. However, I also offer fun themes such as woodland animals, dinosaurs and by the seaside. If you have a colour scheme in mind or something particular you'd like to include in the session, please let me know.
