A bespoke newborn photography session is about more than just taking a few photos of your baby when they’re born. They’re about capturing how tiny your little one is now – because they’ll never be that little again. Before you know it, time has flown by and your tiny newborn isn't so little anymore. Which is why it is such an honour to be able to provide families with these beautiful keepsake photos for them to look back on and cherish for years to come ♡
My goal is to delicately capture those little details of your precious new arrival in warm and cosy surroundings. My boutique garden photography studio in Aldershot, Hampshire was purpose built with newborns in mind and it is of utmost importance to me that your baby is and feels safe at all times. My sessions are very baby-led and nothing is ever rushed.
Our boutique Hampshire photography studio was custom built to enable us to create top quality newborn portraits, we make sure everything is taken care of for you. Our studio has a wide variety of beautiful custom outfits, wraps, headbands, bonnets and props. We have everything you could possibly want or need for a newborn session, there is no need to bring anything along. Just bring your baby, choose your props and sit back and relax - let us take care of the rest!

Most babies LOVE being wrapped! I've not yet met a newborn that didn't enjoy being wrapped - it takes them right back to being in the womb, which means they often relax so much that they fall asleep! Once asleep, I can slowly unwrap baby to capture some of those cute and adorable poses on the beanbag.
Did you know that I always leave plenty of time to feed and comfort baby as part of my newborn sessions? Nothing is ever rushed, we go at baby's pace and I never force baby into any positions they are not naturally comfortable in. Some babies love being on their tummies, others don't. The poses we go through on the day is dictated entirely by your little one! My sessions are ALWAYS baby led ♡

Baby Jdeu was just over 3 weeks old for her newborn session and was an absolute dream from start to finish - content as they come and so very peaceful. This is exactly why I always encourage parents to bring their babies in for a newborn session in the first few weeks of baby's life. Are you looking to book a Newborn Session?
Newborn sessions are best booked for when baby is between 1 to 2 weeks old. This is because they are still all curled up, like how they were in the womb and are still very sleepy. That being said, I am more than happy to book in babies for newborn sessions up to 8 weeks of age.
As a mum myself, I can completely appreciate how it might be difficult to get the time to fit in a newborn photoshoot in those first few weeks, on top of everything else you've got going on! I wouldn't discourage you from considering a newborn session if you've missed that golden window to book. "Older" newborns can sometimes be just as easy to pose as a baby that's only a couple of days old - regardless of your newborns age, we can capture some beautiful images for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
If you're interested in booking your newborn session with me, I suggest getting in touch no later than after your 20 week scan. If your baby is already here, you're more than welcome to get in touch - I always leave a few spaces free every month for last minute bookings.
